Ported out to Tello and waited less than 5 min. Whole port out/port in Visible to Tello to Visible took less than an hour.

Go it, thanks. Since I need a new device, do I activate with my old phone and buy a new one? The phones dont seem to be subsidized so it seems weird they wouldn't just let you buy. new phone.

Promo is for BYOD so you need to BYOD -- after activation you can do whatever you want

If you're looking for an iPhone then you might as well buy a factory unlocked one directly from Apple -- unlocked Android phones should be available on their mfr websites

Yeah. I was careless previously. Also Visible is asking me port out information right away. I have a month of service left. It doesn't seem there is a way to delay it?

Okay... so I got my answer simply by playing with the check-out. You can choose a new number and the discounts still apply. No need to port-in.
