That's an incredible deal! I just bought it over weekend at Best Buy for $1299. I was hoping for this price drop so they could price match and refund me the difference while it's still within their return or exchange policy.

This is much better for bright rooms. I am contemplating getting one for my covered porch.

I chose miniLED over OLED for this reason. I could finally see a normal TV screen with the curtains open during the day.

As I posted above I am able to get c5 77" for $1000 after all cashback buy living room is bright but not a lot so wonder if this is a better choice
I've got a C2 77" in a fairly bright room, but we're able to control light if necessary. Only certain times of the day the angle really makes me even think about it. But everybody's taste is different.

Where are you looking at $1000? LG Partner store? I tried to pull the trigger 2-3 weeks ago when they had the higher level soundbar+bluetooth speaker on the 65". Just wasn't available to ship to me. Think one of the cash backs was 10% at the time.

I have partner store cash back limited to 7% from capital one but normal lg.com is 30% offer that I got. Plus amex 4%+3% and $200 lg gc for reviewing brings it down to under $1000 including tax. I also got lg coupon for 10%

since lg.com would come out cheaper I don't care about partner store garbage soundbar and speaker offer to be honest.

My TCL qm6k pro 65" from Costco arriving today for which I paid $426 including tax and 5 year warranty but I am thinking $1000 is crazy for lg oled c5 77

Best Buy has a Holiday Price Match Guarantee that will match a lower price if the product's price drops during the holiday season, but exclusions apply, most notably Black Friday deals and other limited-time sales that happen between Thanksgiving and Cyber Monday. The policy matches prices from specific online and local competitors on new, identical items that are immediately available.

Yeah, there are many OLEDs at this price point; not sure why anyone would want to buy this when you can get an B5 for $1000, S84F for $900 and a Bravia 8 for $1200.
If you have kids who are on it playing video games or if you watch shows with static images, all OLED TV's are susceptible to burn in. Newer ones not as much but it's still a risk. I bought an LG OLED and babied it... still burn in... still shitty gray banding. For me personally, I'd rather buy something like this and not have to worry if my kid is playing Minecraft on it.

That being said... I still think that the sweet spot for the 75" is $1000-$1100 and the 65" $700-$800

Purchased with the Paypal pay in 4 gets 20% back in points through Bestbuy - Makes this extra nice.
I'm going to have to try to figure this out; looks like capped at $1250 which is plenty. 20% back on a huge tv purchase!

So the LG B5 would be a good choice over this?

Good to know burn in is still an issue with OLEDs. Thanks for pointing that out.

Does anyone have insight if Costco will ever carry a variant of this TV? I really want this TV but I typically try and buy from Costco if possible.

Best Buy has 60 day price match if it does with their program which is like $50 I think.

Edit: according to this you don't even need Best Buy plus. Yes, Best Buy has a Holiday Price Match Guarantee for most products purchased between October 31 and December 31, which allows you to request a price match on their own price if it goes lower before January 15, 2026. This is an extension of their normal price match policy, but it specifically covers price drops from Best Buy itself, not competitor prices.
