Amazon Resale's Black Friday promotion is turning up steep discounts on used and like new tech, from Switch 2 consoles and controllers to MacBooks, iPads, Pixel phones, AirTags, SSDs, and gaming gear. The strongest finds include a Switch 2 console around $311 to $345, a Pixel 10 Pro XL for $560, an M4 Pro Mac mini for $856.66, and several MacBook Air and Pro listings well below retail. The main catch is condition risk and fast-moving stock, with reports of missing parts, tampered seals, wrong items, and some listings losing the extra 30 percent discount. It is a high-reward, high-variance warehouse sale where timing and luck matter.

  • Laptop buyers comfortable with resale risk, because like-new units can arrive spotless with only a few battery cycles and full warranty remaining.

  • Gamers hunting a console-only Switch 2, because the no-bundle version can land at a lower price than the bundle.

  • Shoppers buying SSDs for a cheap capacity upgrade, because some drives arrive nearly new with very low power-on time.

  • Heavy VM users needing a workstation laptop, because the M4 Pro performs well and can arrive untouched with AppleCare eligibility intact.

Deals on ssds/nvmes are garbo this time around versus the last Amazon sale event in October. They purposely increased the prices so the 30% ones reflect a "regular sale" price rather than the more rock bottom ones in October.
Thats basically 75-80% of all these current Amazon 'deals',

got an Apple Studio Display VESA for 1K
I would hold off at this point. Apple is slated to release the Studio Display 2 early next year. If you are paying 1K+, you may as well get mini-LED with a bump in total nits.

You don't want Amazon resale SSDs. Many of them have been swapped out for inferior drives with obvious signs of tampering on them. Speaking from experience.

SSD/RAM prices are exploding right now, a $100 ram kit 3 weeks ago is $300.

From my experience, last time with this SSD deal I scored the 4TB 990pro for 188 bucks. The drive was almost new with only 10 minutes power on time according to Crystaldiskinfo.

This deal is either dead or I'm doing something wrong. Can't find a single thing for 30% off even when clicking individual links others have posted in this thread.
It's dead. You have to see a 20% or 30% label before you add it to the cart. It has to be used

I ordered two 9100 Pros and the security seal on the side had been tampered with. Both would not mountand one h ad a serial number that didn't match the box. Nothing like sweating a refund, they could easily just blame me for it.

Yeah there's stuff I definitely want to get but I'm at 50% return rate for anything used from Amazon. It's usually broken when it gets to me.

Nah, it's always worth the gamble and I've been buying resale for years. The majority have been slightly or very damaged boxes with brand new drives with 0 SMART values for cocaine-bottom prices. Other times have been used to kinda pretty used. On rare occasions I got a "bait and switch" drive (like one of the 4TB Evos I got recently where someone sent a 1TB QVO with a 4TB sticker lmfao). Returns are simple if I end up getting a fake or too-used-for-my-likning drive.

You're right about the rising flash costs tho, almost forgot to factor that into this round of "sales". Still all bs imo.
