Listing apparently states lifetime warranty and made in Germany, but reviews suggest more recently you'll get a product from China

Underneath the red plastic cap.
Moisture eventually gets in there especially if you place in dishwasher.

Look at what this person posted HERE

It's extreme either from use or poor care.

The reviews with photos of the Made in China text on the box. There's also a search feature you can use to find key words in the reviews, or even employ Rufus to do it for you. If that's zero to you, what else are you missing?

These are great kitchen shears. I purchased them during the last sale and they cut thru chicken bones much better than other kitchen shears. Will be purchasing another one!

Edit: I ended up purchasing three! Will be giving two away as gifts

I have the full set of knifes with shears for 4 years and we love it. Twin man is higher quality steel that the single man. I just bought 2 more shears to have around the house, is that good.

Where are you reading that? I see no reviews that say they are made in China. Zero.

Just returned a pair because it was made in China. Last I checked on the Zwilling website; most of the shears were made in China, with the exception of the knife and shear set. I'm guessing some reviews still show the Germany thing because of mixed inventory or they're just older orders. The one I got from October's deal literally says China on the box.

for what it's worth, we got these in a knife block set from crate & barrel about four years ago, and they were the only component marked "made in china." they've held up fine, but we don't do anything like cut chicken bones with them, lol

Found a pair of these last summer at the goodwill for $1. Didn't know anything about them but saw they were made in Germany so I bought them.
Looked them up on line and see that now they are made in China but are still marked with the "Zwilling Co. Germany". Kinda misleading.

Radio Shack always labeled their stuff "Radio Shack, Ft. Worth, Texas" even though virtually all their stuff was made in the far east back then.

having bought these from Amazon.com seller directly at full price multiple times, I can confirm these are made in Germany, it's stamped on the metal. But I can also confirm that these do show rust after a while if you don't wash/dry right after; It doesn't take away from their cutting power and they're inside the knife block so you can't really see it. but yes, don't use it for chicken or bones, they're good for opening packages and just basic kitchen/home use cutting

These are almost certainly made in China, look at the reviews attached to photos on the sale page. They do say "Germany" on them because that's where Henckels is based. That said, they may be pretty good. I have a pair of (different) Chinese-made Henckels and Wusthof kitchen shears and they are great. The real problem with these - depending on your use case - is that they do not appear to come apart for cleaning and sharpening. You can get those for $4 more, and they appear to be better built as well.

Not buying because made in china.
I addition, any scissors that get wet and don't come apart for proper cleaning and drying will have rust

I got these back in 2013 as part of a knife set, and the scissors do say "made in Germany". The current ones appear to be made in China.

That said, my German-made scissors do occasionally get a little rust on them , but a little scrubbing with a steel wool cleans them right up.
