The ASUS Dual Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB is a compact PCIe 5.0 card that looks strongest as a value upgrade for midrange builds, especially with its 16GB of VRAM and full x16 connection. The 2 fan design is only 202mm long, so it should fit in smaller cases, and the price sits just under MSRP. Performance chatter puts it around 35 percent ahead of a GTX 2070 Super and slightly ahead of a 6700 XT, though the 5060 Ti is often cited as a bit faster. The main knocks are the modest discount, only three display outputs, and some concern about ASUS warranty support.
Gamers upgrading from an older NVIDIA card like a GTX 2070 Super because commenters said it would be a huge upgrade for them and they're comparing it directly against their 2070Super performance.
PC builders who want a small-form-factor GPU because this is a clean 2-fan card that's only 202mm long and should fit even in more constrained true USFF cases.
People assembling very tiny Linux gaming/desktop builds because a similar card can fit in a 7L ITX case when running Bazzite.
Buyers who are specifically looking for a PCIe 5.0 card at a good price because the community called out the price as good "right bc it is PCIe 5.0."
Owners pairing a new GPU with a full PCIe x16 slot because commenters noted you'll basically get everything out of a 9060 XT thanks to its full PCIe ×16 connection.
People upgrading from a 3070 8GB who care about smooth, playable frame rates because one commenter said the jump from ~30fps avg to ~50fps isn't playable for their preferences and they didn't think it was worth the $340+tax.
Shoppers who need lots of display outputs because the card was called out as having only 3 output ports.
Buyers who are trying to avoid CPU bottlenecks because a commenter warned that a Ryzen 1600X will bottleneck and recommended upgrading to a 5600+ to pair with the GPU.
Deal hunters expecting a big discount versus nearby alternatives because one commenter said this is only about $10 cheaper than the PowerColor 2-fan model has been for about a month (around $350).
People who are comparing it against a faster RTX 5070 option because commenters noted the 5070 is around ~50% faster (even though it has 12GB VRAM), making the 9060 XT a less compelling choice if you're choosing purely on performance.
Buyers who are sensitive to brand/RMA risk because one commenter warned about potential RMA issues with ASUS.

5060 Ti is 5% faster.

looked at video comparisons to the 16gb 9060 xt, not worth the $340+tax as an upgrade.
Sure if you go 2160p + ultra settings, the 9060 stomps on the 3070, but going from 30fps avg to 50fps isn't playable IMHO
I'll just stick with what I got for now... maybe next spring build a new system

The Radeon RX 9060 XT outperforms the Radeon RX 6700 XT by approximately 3%.
The RX 9060 XT features 16 GB of GDDR6 memory with a 128-bit bus width and a memory bandwidth of 322.3 GB/s, while the RX 6700 XT has 12 GB of GDDR6 with a 192-bit bus and a bandwidth of 384.0 GB/s.
Good luck with any RMA b/c Asus is no longer the company it once was.
