Get it for yourself or gift it, it's a classic even with its imperfections. Best played with headphones in a dark room. It's a little slow at times but I promise it switches up nicely before it gets too fatiguing. It's an easy buy at this price

I got this free on PsN. Didn't expect much. Found it outstanding. Great remake. Different endings and choices so there is also a degree of replayability. Plus the chainsaw on new game plus.

Absolutely second the headphones. Turn on the immersive 3d audio as well. Also pitch black room, and dial in the HDR settings. The prison was so incredibly immersive I dreaded turning on the console to continue in that area.
