Whenever possible, I use store pickup for a TV since you hear all sorts of stories about receiving cracked screens.

Can anyone comment on experiences with Amazon delivery vs Walmart vs Best Buy delivery? If driving a Ford Escape, store pickup has a hard limit of 65" screen size.

Yes but I have received cracked screen from in store pick up sometimes you can't hear it

I hear good things about Hisense so I'll give it a try. I usually buy Samsung and I know their 100" tv has 1000 dimming zones while this only has 200-300 tops. So I won't expect the same contrast, but the price difference is huge.

This has 0 local dimming zones. It's cheap and enormous. How many 100" tvs do you "give a try?"

I never understood purchasing insurance for relatively cheap stuff that is not a necessity.
If my TV died 5 years later, I'd happily buy a replacement that has the latest technology than have someone replace the HDMI board (something I can do myself anyhow).
