May be fine for a business like say a sports bar. Otherwise the quality of picture seems garbage.

Software is garbage too. I have an older model and the WiFi doesn't even work. Have to use a chrome cast

The screen on this is only 53" tall by 86" wide. A projector can easily fill an entire wall that is 8' or 9' tall, giving you a viewing area that is up to 150" (131" x 74"). TV's just can't compare with projectors on that aspect. The advantage of these big TV's is that you can see the TV during the daytime in a sunny room. If the Superbowl was at noon...we wouldn't be able to see it at all with the projector. That's why I'm here looking at big TV's.

I bought the tcl qm7k it is 7.8 mixed for 1800 with the amazon deal. Then I saw the TCl qm6k was on sale for 1500 with a 7.1 overall. However when you read the description on Rtings they act like there is a big difference in image quality. Yes I looked at the individual ratings as well and there are some that are 1 point difference. If you rely on RTINGS allot which I understand I like objective findings. if a 7.1 to 7.8 is a big jump is a 5.6 like a garbage score?

4K, QLED, 144Hz, Smart features, all for $900...try telling someone that 15 years ago. I bought a 50-inch 720p plasma on Black Friday 2010 and it was like $500.
