I think I'd bite on these if they didn't have the plastic/rubber handle... rather just keep ratchets all metal.

I got the 1/2 84t for $25 a while back just haven't paid attention to these ones, you sound like a real fun dude

Got em earlier today. Pretty pleased with the 1/4" in particular - feels really nice, smooth, and minimal on backdrag. 3/8" maybe not quite as minimal on backdrag but it's still pretty smooth/satisfying out of the box. I got a Husky set recently that needed a lot of 'tuning' (disassembly/cleaning/better grease) out of the box before they felt anything near this good.

I can see the complaints about them maybe being a little on the long side though. Definitely my longest 1/4" and 3/8" ratchets by far. Grips are slender as some reviews stated, but not too much so, IMO.

All in all, glad I got these @ $52.
