At some point all that time, gas, effort, and resetting up a new ipad isn't worth it for a mere $20.

Bought this exact Ipad on sale at Costco for $299. I just replaced it with this one. Gonna take the $20 I just saved and buy some potatoes.

Bought this exact Ipad on sale at Costco for $299. I just replaced it with this one. Gonna take the $20 I just saved and buy some potatoes.

Still using iPad Air 2 from 2014 which is fully functional, but I've been seeing the red screen flash when rebooting for almost 2 years now, so I figure it's definitely on the way out. Just debating whether to go with this "new" option or take my chances with the Amazon "used like new" for under $200. Or wait for the 2026 version?

i am debating the same thing, basically new vs used is $70 difference (~20%) from new price. i m leaning towards new because knowing that it's new worth the $70 difference for me since I am going to use the iPad for at least 5 years.

Thanks op. I also used amazon Amex rewards offer to reduce another $30 off of the price. Total $249. Went with blue color.

Ipad 11 flys at 500mph at web surfing. Ipad 9 250mph.
Usually the new ipad at discount is cheaper with new battery, USBC, 4x cpu than used $100 ipad 7 or 8

It's now the same price at Costco. All you gotta do is go back to Costco with your receipt and they'll do a price adjustment and it's better to keep the product from Costco anyway because they will return it anytime as long as it's not damaged if you're not satisfied with the product.
