Word of advice, get a brightly colored silicone case off Amazon and these will stop disappearing into the couch every other day

If Apple TV cost $100 on sale, these remotes should not cost $60 or even $80, the normal price should be $30.

I have both, the old model and newer model remotes. Old one shows the grime of use and needs periodic cleaning, no need to press a separate button for voice. New Model remote, feels a lot better in the hands and can't see the grime. lol

I bought a glow in the dark silicone case. Really helpful to find on the table in a dark room.

Received mine today. Maybe a refurb. Compared to 2nd gen, it is lighter and has a matte touch pad instead of smooth. It works though, for now.

How would you know if it's not charging if it's not connected to the ATV?
I had to remove my 2nd Gen remote from the list (only one Siri remote recognized at a time), restart the remote (HOME + DownVol for 5 seconds), restart the ATV, and pair remote next to ATV (BACK + UpVol for 5 seconds).
