You could buy two of the 5 device licenses. With ESET you can manage all devices with an ESET home account. When installing ESET on each device you input the activation code into the device itself. After it's activated then you'd link it to ESET home account, I think. But ESET home account is entirely optional.

Ive been using them for years. I had 3 device plan, then 5 device plan, then 10 device plan, and now been on 15 device plan for like 3 years.

I can say Bitdefender Total Security (Family Pack) is packed with features (antivirus, spam controll, firewall, vpn, ransomeware protection, crypto miming protection, online threat protection, etc.). Also has tqblet and cellphone security software if you want to use it.
Eset management controlling other devices isnt unique. Pretty much any high level security software does the same. Yes Bitdefender has it too.

Remember that ESET has a 30 day free trial in case anyone wanted to test drive. Working in IT I've used ESET for almost 2 decades and in the corporate world it works very well. But Bitdefender for sure has more features and the price is indeed lower per year.
Missed out on this last time and my subscription ran out last week....now good for 2 years!!
