Switching to this AV product. Been using Norton since the days of 3.5" disks but fed up with the constant upselling. Can't wait to dump Norton once it expires.

There is also a deal on ESET Home Security Essential 2026 right now. ESET doesn't slow down web surfing like Bitdefender tends to do. Both products are great but ESET wins hands down for not slowing down the PC overall.
Be aware that if you're extending an existing subscription through the Android app, the option may not be available when you enter the code. I've been with Bitdefender support for hours and they said there's nothing they can help with and you will just be wasting your subscription.

Are you extending the same amount of devices supported? If it's a different one then it won't extend it, has to be identical.

It is extendable! I was able to extend my existing subscription. Awesome!
Every time I see this deal I jump on it to extend my service. Not jumping this time though because my subscription doesn't end until 2029. Good price though for anyone interested.

ESET pricing comparable?
Bitdefender didn't allow using more than 5 devices - how does ESET work if u have more than 5 devices? Price?

1-Year ESET Home Security Essential (3 Devices) [newegg.com] $12.99 w/code BFE2572
1-Year ESET Home Security Essential (5 Devices) [newegg.com] $17.99 w/code BFE2575
1-Year ESET NOD32 Antivirus (10 Devices) [newegg.com] $39.99 w/code BFE2597
2-Year ESET NOD32 Antivirus (1 Devices) [newegg.com] $18.99 w/code BFE2574
You could buy two of the 5 device licenses. With ESET you can manage all devices with an ESET home account. When installing ESET on each device you input the activation code into the device itself. After it's activated then you'd link it to ESET home account, I think. But ESET home account is entirely optional.

If Bitdefender didnt allow more than 5 devices thats your mistake in buying the wrong product not Bitdefenders fault. You get what you pay for. If you want more than 5 devices dont choose Total Security choose Family Pack (Family Pack is Total Security with more devices).
Ive been using them for years. I had 3 device plan, then 5 device plan, then 10 device plan, and now been on 15 device plan for like 3 years.

Thanks for posting info. Never used Eset so cant comment on it. That said Bitdefender is better deal money wise.
Bitdefender Family Pack 2 years (15 DEVICES) $35
Eset Antivirus 1 year (10 DEVICES) $40
I can say Bitdefender Total Security (Family Pack) is packed with features (antivirus, spam controll, firewall, vpn, ransomeware protection, crypto miming protection, online threat protection, etc.). Also has tqblet and cellphone security software if you want to use it.
Eset management controlling other devices isnt unique. Pretty much any high level security software does the same. Yes Bitdefender has it too.

All depends on what you need specifically. True that ESET is not as feature rich. With newer hardware I'm sure Bitdefender works very well. Most of our computers are older so ESET was the one that didn't cause the PC to bog down. I've setup free version of Bitdefender for many senior citizens and it works great for them as they tend to click on just about anything lol.
Remember that ESET has a 30 day free trial in case anyone wanted to test drive. Working in IT I've used ESET for almost 2 decades and in the corporate world it works very well. But Bitdefender for sure has more features and the price is indeed lower per year.

Can you just await for your current run out? I have a five device sub should I even try getting this?
