The TCL 98" QM7K is on sale again at both Amazon and Best Buy for roughly $2,000.

I bought it a month ago when it was on sale from Amazon. I bought it from Amazon because the 4 year extended warranty was much cheaper than the 5 year extended warranty from BB. I am very impressed with this TV. I have three OLEDs in my house now. Is this TV as good as an OLED? No. Is it close? Yes! Considering this only cost $2k and a 97" OLED is over $20k I am blown away by it performance for the price. I replaced my 120" front projector setup with this TV. I will miss the size but I didn't want to pay $10k for the 115" version. I'll upgrade to the 115"+ size when the prices drop on TVs that size. I figure that will happen in the next few years. For now this 98" TV is incredible for $2k.

I agree this is the best deal going! I love mine.

I think this is the same deal found in two other threads.

It is probably the same deal. This seems to be the price it drops to when it is on sale. I linked to one of the prior threads in my post. I wasn't sure how else to let people know it was back on sale again.

A better deal is available through Walmart: the item costs about $2,000, a 5-year protection plan is only $75, and Angi installation is included for free. If you understand how to use the insurance, you're basically well covered—no need to spend 25% of the product's price on Geek Squad protection.

Angi can be a mess, but there's a workaround: when they create the booking page for your installation, include very specific details that make the job sound more complex. Most contractors won't accept it, and after enough failed matches, you can escalate. At that point Angi usually ends up paying out more to bring in a qualified professional, even if it means they take a loss, because they want to maintain their contract with Walmart.

I assume angi has insurance? My tv is right next to my hvac line set, it's in the same wall cavity it will be mounted which makes me worried.

Angi Happiness Guarantee covers $2.5k but you can also make sure your assigned pro is bonded, insured, and licensed before accepting them as the assigned pro
