As noted. I have never had one fail, so never had to test the warranty. I bought them in bulk off eBay to replace about 10+ switches a few years ago, and continue to buy and switch out my dumb switches on an ongoing basis when I get motivated. They are very reliable.
I have about 30 Caseta dimmers in my house - had them for probably about 6 years. I'm sure it's possible they can fail, but I've never had an issue with any of them. I bought every single one of them from eBay one at a time (other than the ones that came with the hot-deal starter pack that included the hub) because at the time at least, the regular Caseta dimmers retailed for $60 and I could consistently get them for $40-$45 shipped from eBay.
I was on a market for a couple of them for the last month. No listings at $40. You're talking about Claro switches, while this is a Diva dimmer switch.
Lowest I've seen was $50+ from a seller with good reviews and a lot of sales. So getting one from reputable retailer with an easy return (as a safety measure) at $60 seems like a solid deal.
