These crack in the dishwasher - top shelf only for me. After less than a year. I would suggest just sticking to the glass ones

They used to advertise these with a lifetime warranty, but they backed off that claim and now just say a 120 day satisfaction guarantee. My instinct tells me they did this because they know they're gonna crack. They definitely do. I'm not sure if it's the dishwasher or the microwave being the main culprit, but they're gonna crack.

I've had the glass model for years now. And every single lid has developed a crack over time. So if people are saying that the containers crack, I fully believe it.

**edit** to clarify the lids are plastic for the glass models.

We have an unreasonable number of these in our pantry (~40), and they are amazing for that. They have stood up to daily use for years and have had zero issues. Love how they stack and keep food reasonably fresh. That being said, we use them for snacks and dry goods only, so rarely if ever put them in the dishwasher like you would need to for leftovers (mostly change hand wash occasionally). We find the 4-12 cup sizes the most useful. Anything smaller than 3.2 cups like the two 0.5-cup and two 1.3-cup are basically worthless and there is nothing you could practically put in these (even chia seeds, almonds etc would come in a larger package). So just know this set is basically 3 useful ones and 4 throw-aways.

All of the prices for these are the same as last week. I know because I was eyeing them for the last 2 weeks. All these "deals" on Amazon are a racket.

I've have 2 sets - 1 for about 10 years and the other for about 5. They've held up fairly well. I've only had 1 lid crack and use them often. I use the small ones for sauces or dressings when I take my lunch to work. I'm wondering if they changed the type of plastic materials because so many people have complained about them. People used to rave about them. I could definitely use more.

Yeah, it's definitely the microwave that is the worst.

If you use them for dry/pantry storage and/or they hold up great. Top rack in the dishwasher is a must.

The glass ones are definitely superior

The last time I received my order, one of the lids was broken. I hope they will deliver everything safely this time.

We have many of these. Used regularly in the microwave and dishwasher (top shelf).

No cracks for us. We love them.

Even if they did wear out or crack after a while, we'd replace them because overall they are better than anything else we've tried.

We initially got the plastic ones of these, and then tried out the glass ones. The plastic ones really are very prone to cracking. If they really got rid of the lifetime warranty, I'd steer clear of the plastic ones.

I was a huge fan of these at the beginning, but after awhile, they all went into the trash and this was after Rubbermaid sent me a new set. They would all get hairline cracks in the bottom middle and leak all over. They would only work if storing dry items. We pitched them and went with old school glass containers. EDIT.....guess I am not the only one with this issue after reading thru all of these comments lol. Seriously buyer beware, these are not what they once were!!!

That makes me a bit nervous. I love these things but purchased them years ago, wash top or bottom rack and never had an issue so far :/
