I have this and 20v DeWalts. I also have the drill and there's one other driver I have I tend to go to this in most situations.

Looks like high torque but I assume it's not?

No, this is the brushed model. Its the lowest tier milwaukee makes. Not saying it's bad just low powered compared to the fuel line up.

Its definitely worth the money if you need something light duty.

What is the high torque model? Closest thing I can think to this would be the 2-speed.

This thing is one of my most frequently used tools around the house. Just got done refinishing cabinets and adding pull-out drawers - only took two compact battery charges to do every door, hinge, drawer, knob, and it stirred the paint and primer.
Torque range is really good. Lowest setting I can easily stop with a light grip, exactly where I want it for stuff like hose clamps and light auto work (air filters etc).

I have this. I don't like it because the bit fits loosely and slides back and forth. So at a quick press on a screw it's not obvious when making contact. I wish it had a simple magnet to keep it from moving.

Just ordered my third copy. Definitely super useful. Not as good as the $50 with two batteries from 2021 but four years later and still a great tool to have on hand

This is my first screwdriver kit, but it doesn't come with bits, do i add this to the cart too?

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwa.../325632520

I'm concerned that's only for an Impact drill, or is it for both? Thanks!

The M12 drill/driver combo with two batteries for $99 seems like a better deal. Why not buy that combo and use a magnetic bit holder in the drill? The drill has a the clutch mechanism.

Yes, it's a standard ¼" hex shank, and those will fit. But the short bits are awkwardly short, I only use longer bits in mine.

For most people, this would be an addition, not an instead of. I have better drills and drivers, but use the m12 screwdriver more than any other driver in my garage.
It's just a little bit easier to use (quick change with hex shank), lighter weight, and smaller, so it's a good go-to.
If you need a drill and driver, and you're a homeowner or doing lightweight tasks, that M12 kit would be a better buy.
if you want a power screwdriver, already have M12 system, this thing's great. Quiet, fast, intuitive torque settings (you're not going to strip anything on 2-3)
