FYI – The rules on the $15 credit are pretty strict. Last year, I applied it to an order that I ended up cancelling and never got the credit back. I appealed to support and they said it was one time use and doesn't get refunded. Trying to save others from potential headache. Makes sure you only order what you are for sure going to keep!

For anyone decide to buy apple gift card and then use to buy "iphone/ipad/macbook...". You are allowed up to $2,000 in apple balance and up to 8 gift card seperately on the transaction ( this is "online" limit , in store I believe 20). Basically 2,800 capped on "apple gift card" per transaction

I wouldn't recommend that either. Anytime I've tried to buy something with more than a few hundred of my Apple Balance, it takes multiple days to clear and delays shipping. Last time I used Apple Balance was for a $59 iPad mini Folio cover and not only did it take days to clear, it kicked my shipping back from "express" to standard after the fact. Aboslute PITA and same exact situtation when trying to spend Apple Balance in store. When I do Apple trade-ins, I just leave the money in there to cover Apple One and iCloud storage at this point. Also, almost no one on the phone or in their stores understands the difference between Apple Balance and gift cards... So if you get the gift cards, just redeem them individually when you go to by something and avoid dumping them into your account. I had to get executive outreach (emailed the Tim Cook address) to be able to use $1200 of my Apple Balance to buy a MacBook Air a few years ago. It's insane... literally a bank account that doesnt pay you interest and you have to fight to spend your money in the account lol.
