This is the second highest SKU on the LG Gram Pro 17, with the only difference between it and the higher spec is this has a single 1TB SSD, and the higher spec has 2x1TB SSDs.

Already, this is a way better value than the highest spec, which is normally $3249 vs $2349.

Right now, the highest spec is on sale for $2599, which means that 1TB SSD upgrade costs $250 (not worth it).

However, this model is on sale for $700 off at Best Buy for only $1649, which is an incredible deal.

Great deal, Just Josh on Youtube reviews this as excellent except for the high MSRP if you want to see a thorough review of it.

I want to see the 16" Pro with the 258v/288v go on sale for less than this though. They have no gpu and yet the lowest they have gone so far is just about this price.

edit: I just got this 15% off coupon from LG to use on LG's store that has five uses if folks want to try it: FRIENDO5E2W

the fact that OLEDs are more common now made this year's GRAM a bottom choice... otherwise I'd be all over it

Holy crap! It worked... I cancelled my Best Buy order, and got it shipped expedited from LG for $1504.54 after shipping and tax instead of $1738.39 with in-store pickup.

That's just incredible.

It'd be cheaper and last longer on battery without the gfx card.

try staring at a computer screen for 10+ hrs of office work. you won't want OLED, you'll prefer IPS.
LG Gram is actually ideal.

So I think this can get down to $1,094 + tax with the 15% off from LG and 22% back from Paypal for LG

I was able to message LG on FB and get a 15% code.

I also went to the PayPal app, searched for LG among offers, and clicked through it to buy this on the LG store within PayPal, including the discount code.

I got it for $1402 + tax (after the 15% code from LG). I paid $1,546.25 in Chicago.

In theory, if PayPal 22% comes through, that would reduce it to $1,094 + tax (or close).

I'm not a SD discount whiz, so if anything is off, just let me know.

For a top of the line model that retails at $2,349 and is one 1TB SSD off from (the crazy inflated) $3,249 maxed out top of line, that's great!

I wish this had a higher resolution screen and personally 17 might be too big for my travel needs, so that may be the only reason I don't end up keeping it.

What's the difference between this model 17Z90TR-E.ADB8U3 w/MSRP of $2,350 (the model on BF sale) and the 17Z90TR-E.ADB9U1 model w/$3,250 MSRP other than the 1TB diff in SSD HDD?
On the LG website it says that the only difference is that one is made in Vietnam and the other in China

Congratulations. Liked how you pursued LG giving you one code. I tried but no luck. Please share code if its multiple use and you have no further use for it

Hi! It was a single use code (I tried to replicate unsuccessfully to try something), but they were quite forthcoming with it. I asked and they provided it. I feel confident others could get it too by asking.
