Seems like a great deal here. Any thoughts on this? Snapdragon vs Intel?

Also only $37 to add on a pair of Buds 3.

For general casual use (web browsing, light office work) Snapdragon will work fine. If you use specific software or games you better investigate whether they are compatible and if they run well on ARM.

For the price of a Chromebook I'd say this is pretty good.

I Have the X-Elite Snapdragon 3.8 Ghz and it's AMAZING. Love it so much. For that price i would definitely but the 15.6 3ghz without blinking.

I remember not even 6 months ago saying we will see plenty of snap dragon devices well under $500, happy to know I was correct. This platform is pretty much a sinking ship when they started putting out laptops for $1K+ as the norm, lolol.

If you are just looking for something for consumption of media and surfing device, go for it. Outside of MS Office this has limited support for a lot of work programs, especially if they are company proprietary.

The reviews don't look great for the screen. Seems like it is easy to crack. Is this just users more likely to post a bad experience or something these laptops are known for? The price is great but I am not exactly delicate with my laptops. I am going to see if they have cases available for it.

I read all the reviews and I saw the negative reviews about the crack screen. I don't know why the screen would crack by itself. However, from the review, the response from Samsung warranty seem to "typical". Samsung usually rejects warranty claims and blames the customers. I had experience with Samsung warranty before and it was very difficult to get service without paying a fortune. You won't believe it. Samsung blamed me for problem and they said they had no idea about the problem.
By the time I got Samsung to fix the problem on site, they knew exactly the issue because they happened to have the exact part. They came on site with only one part.

Usually, the repair cost is almost the same as the unit cost.

Maybe other people have better luck with Samsung warranty.
