Need to download a chinese app that requires an excessive amout of permissions from your phone to use the functions or features. Without the app the headphones are mediocre in sound quality.
Something to be aware of if you care about your privacy. If you havent noticed this brand has been shilled a lot as of late.
I bought a pair before...sounds good, love the clickable button...however one side died shortly after just a month, just a few days out of return window. After back and forth with seller about any warranty, they just refunded me. While I love the buds, not happy on the short life span. I am using a Soundcore 20i and that has lasted nearly a year, still going strong....just hate the touch feature and in-ear.

Bought and like them, app gives eq options, nice earbud controls for vol, media. Also they switch without an announcement in your ear "connected" like a different pair I own. If they are comfortable for you, you'll like them.
I don't disagree completely, but I do expect better sound. You don't know what you're missing until you've had better. If they aren't better I'll be sure to chime in on future deals featuring them, and in my own review on Amazon.
From AI: Comparison between Baseus BC1 and Bowie MC1 Pro earbuds
"The Baseus Bowie MC1 Pro is a premium, more expensive earbud that offers superior sound quality (LDAC support, three-magnet drivers), a more durable IP67 water resistance rating, and a more comfortable, ergonomic fit with better materials. In contrast, the Baseus BC1 is the budget-friendly option, with a focus on accessibility, but with a more basic sound profile, IP55 rating, and less premium materials
yea it read user reviews.. Not like ChatGPT / AI is testing sound quality....

I was listing the feature differences and it's just what was gleaned from other reviews/websites by my Google search. It's not really AI.
I couldn't review the sound until I received the MC1, but after I did, I gave an actual mini review four comments back from yours. Par for the course on SD.
I so wanted to like the BC1's but couldn't fix it's awful sound signature by positioning around my ear and equalization. It was comfortable but sounded horrible. I"m returning it and ordered the MC1, hoping those sound better.
I have these, they sound great if you position them correctly. Once you get them located right, they don't move around, even while working outdoors and bending over frequently. I bought a second pair as I like them so much, they pushed out my Samsung beans as my favorite half ear headphones.
Just got mine. I don't care for them. They don't go inside your ear. They're meant to kind of point sound towards your ear canal from your earlobe. It feels weird, like it should be in your ear. It's pretty comfortable, but at max volume I can barely hear music. If I push it all the way in my ear, the back clip part doesn't fit, but it sounds better while I hold it there. Maybe this would be better at home or something, but if you're using it at work where it's loud, it is not good

False: the app only requires location and nearby devices with is standard for Bluetooth earbuds.
This joker posts this same fake comment in every baseus thread. super weird.
I have the MC1 pro for about two months now, happy with the purchase, they seem have combined offer often which you may get a second item for free or good discount.

This BC1 model has no need for the App. Only their higher model MC1, MC pro work with APP

I dont have this exact ear bud but have something like it.
This type is better than those that just hang over your ear because they don't fall off when you're active. But these are good because you can be aware of your surroundings... you can talk to people passing by without taking them out, listen to music in the car without disturbing others, being able to clearly hear emergency vehicles while driving, etc.
This is a good price, I'll try one.
