Need to download a chinese app that requires an excessive amout of permissions from your phone to use the functions or features. Without the app the headphones are mediocre in sound quality.
Something to be aware of if you care about your privacy. If you havent noticed this brand has been shilled a lot as of late.

I bought a pair before...sounds good, love the clickable button...however one side died shortly after just a month, just a few days out of return window. After back and forth with seller about any warranty, they just refunded me. While I love the buds, not happy on the short life span. I am using a Soundcore 20i and that has lasted nearly a year, still going strong....just hate the touch feature and in-ear.

Mine aren't the best bluetooth connection. But they are super comfortable and have more bass than I expected from a clip on attachment.
I have been using a pair for almost a month. Pretty happy with them. However they last only 3 hours per charge, nowhere near the advertised 7+ hours. Not sure if I should ask for replacement before the window closes.
I bought this a few weeks ago because they kept popping up. I do like them and if I lose them, I'll be okay since they were only $20. I use them more than my Shokz so for the price, they're worth it for a throw away pair.
Got these from the last deal and absolutely love them. Other people actually can't hear them unlike my shokz. Sound quality feels like it's about as good as it will get for open ear headphones and the physical button is dope.
Only thing I don't like is that the back is so wide that it is hard to find a comfortable position on the ear. Once I do, they are fine though

Same here, I think they're great, so much so I don''t use my other buds now. The Black Friday deals seem pretty decent so I decided to upgrade just to see how much better the sound was of their more expensive models.

I bought these 5 or so months ago. I never downloaded/used the app but the audio was alright, although it has degraded- possible due to sweating from summer activity. I'm guessing they aren't as water resistant as they want people to believe. Battery for me is about 4.5 hours. Still a fine deal for these budget earbuds.
What would the upgrade even improve? Sound quality seemed more than good enough and open ear generally is going to reduce quality
I don't disagree completely, but I do expect better sound. You don't know what you're missing until you've had better. If they aren't better I'll be sure to chime in on future deals featuring them, and in my own review on Amazon.
From AI: Comparison between Baseus BC1 and Bowie MC1 Pro earbuds
"The Baseus Bowie MC1 Pro is a premium, more expensive earbud that offers superior sound quality (LDAC support, three-magnet drivers), a more durable IP67 water resistance rating, and a more comfortable, ergonomic fit with better materials. In contrast, the Baseus BC1 is the budget-friendly option, with a focus on accessibility, but with a more basic sound profile, IP55 rating, and less premium materials

Well I received the Bowie MC1 Pros today. It's interesting. The sound is a maybe little better than the BC1s, but not by much. It's really good though, no complaints. That said, there are a couple of significant differences between the MC1 and BC1. The MC1s are definitely smaller, so if you have small ears, these are definitely the ones to get over the BC1. On my ears, they are much more snug, still very comfortable, but they really stay. Also, the battery life seems to be much better than the BC1s too. I haven't taken any calls with them so I can't comment on that. Bluetooth connectivity is about the same. I'm definitely happier with the better fit and I'm keeping them.

Right now you can add both BC1 and XC1 to the cart and the total comes up to $99.99 ($28.56 BC1 and $71.43 XC1). I believe you can then return the BC1 and keep the XC1 for $71. Not sure that's worth it though.

I almost bought their top en XC1s (the Bose "tuned" ones) at $99 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FMRPK...F0aWM&th=1 [amazon.com] , but instead, I paid $49.99 for the Bowie MC1 Pro https://www.amazon.com/Baseus-Bow...r_1_1_sspa [amazon.com] which also included a free charging power bank.
