Tab Pro is more expensive ($265 w/ extra coupon code (EXTRAFIVE) if buy on Lenovo website when $280), but has better processor and better screen. Will only be updated to Android 16 vs 17 for Plus though. Pretty similar otherwise.

Ideal Tab Pro was $248 with all the discounts and coupons a few months ago. I did not buy it because Ideal Tab Pro is still on Android 14. I am waiting to buy the next tablet with Android 16.

Quality doesn't have to be expensive.

It's that new math that schools are teaching now.

Not enough to justify this price.

This tablet is horrible. It freezes all of the time. I have to constantly hit the power button to get back to the screen. Customer service is horrible.

Lenovo's and motorola have one big problem that they need to address.. software updates !! Some of these devices are actually good from hardware perspective if you manage to get them on a decent deal, but what kills them is their longevity when it comes to software .. These devices are soft dead though hardware have some punch to push it through.. At this age, the only reason i think is its deliberate to push consumers to spend more on new devices.. Too much for going green and saving the planet..

Wow. This is crazy!
I have M10 3rd gen that I kept as Android 12, and it does that too. I chased it quite a bit with all kinds of fixes proposed on Reddit and XDA - and nothing.
Anyway, I was hoping that newer Lenovo tablets would be OK, so I might consider them, but appears to be not the case.
My suspicion is that some system component is putting it to hard sleep, and then the power button re-awakens it.

Agree on letting suppliers clean out old inventory in the pipeline at this time of year, then grabbing the next generation at similar pricing -- when that can happen.

But when will the next gen be available? Could be a screwed Scrooge if not by Christmas.
