I am trying to share a cox public wifi with a win laptop built in hotspot. will this help improve range? Only problem is it goes to sleep/ disconnects.
I wonder if there a better hardware/travel router that I can use to login to cox and share
These jumped up in price a lot lately and I needed one more, so this should do.
Is it me, or does Amazon keep adding extra steps to using coupons? There are at least two steps designed to get you to miss that your coupon wasn't applied now.

Yup, shady. The new link, then ON button, then arrow confirmation button, so scummy.
Does this work out of the box with Linux Kernel 6.12?? A lot of these WiFi usb chips don't.
One of the reviews says it doesn't work out of the box in Mint, so I'd guess no. Hard to know for sure otherwise since I can't find the actual chip they used.
I bought one of these for my HP omen desktop attached to a USB extension cable and just moving it past a single wall has doubled my Internet speeds but YMMV.
