These are incredibly difficult to find not at a crazy high MSRP and many places have knockoff versions.

Edit: The PS4 controller is a great alternative to the PS3 controller as the backward compatible controller even with a small caveat such as home button however it not in the end of the world.

Also, the PS3 controller still commend high asking price in the secondary market, and this is a no brainer esp if u still have the PS4.

Lastly, the last PS4 controller deal going for $30 prior to the deal from October 2025 at Target Brick and Mortar was in 2019. Six years ago!

Deal is a deal. Complainer gonna complain.

This is pretty clutch. A brand new PS4 controller is usually pretty expensive. On top of that you don't even know if it's a fake when you buy one from ebay etc. If you ever plan to use your PS4 in the future you may want to get this. Maybe that old PS4 in your closet is on a jailbreak compatible firmware and you need a controller.

USB-C mod is incredibly easy and a no brainer if you plan on using this thing in the modern gaming era. Bolt on chip mod, the only thing you have to do is shave some plastic off for the bigger port. Takes about 15 min.
