A BestBuy reviewer: "I would not recommend this laptop, it comes with Microsoft Copilot+ AI running all the time. When Copilot+ runs it makes the laptop get too hot to use on a lap as the case heats up and the fans run full speed. BestBuy has a 14 day return policy for this item and I had problems at day 16, so that is another reason not to get it. I had to completely remove all the gaming features, and remove Microsoft Copilot+ just to get the laptop to run cool and quieter."

You may have paid that much but it is not a "$50" phone.
Phone deals involves the service providers subsidizing the product as they plan to make their money on the longer term sale of service plans.
$300 and $400 phones sold at $50 are being sold far below cost.
In any case it is what it is. This is a good laptop for the sale price.
It is not state of the art.

Mine has a line of air intake across the bottom and vents out the hinge of the screen. That means if you set it on your lap or a blanket, it gets zero air.
Also, I've had it not hibernate on close several times and opened up my bag to an incredibly hot everything.
