I've had one of these for many years and it's still works. The only downside is the opening where the ground coffee comes out gets clogged and you need to use a utensil each time you grind the beans to clear that opening.

The stainless steel appears to be half the price of the other colors

Mine recently died after around 7 years. Its alright but after a few years it just would NOT grind the right amount...ever. Select 4 cups/tablespoons, get 6 or 8. I had to actively count ever time. Also agree with the clogging issue. Not sure if Id buy again.

I had one of these for years before it died. I liked it well enough that I purchased a replacement. Thanks OP!

Ours is about to die and it's about the same years old. It's really loud, it does get clogged, and the amounts are very inconsistent. I will replace with a higher quality one.

I love the way it works but I just ended up splurging on for the OXO and it has worked beautifully ever since. Very very minimal issues. Also looks great IMO and very happy with the value compared to a Baratza...

It works ok. It just creates a mess. Always have to wipe countertop down.

Honestly. No.

It's loud enough to wake a sleeping teenager. It generates enough static electricity to power Texas during an ice storm. The mess it creates qualifies as a Superfund site.

Spend the money on something nicer if this is the route you're going. I went with a KitchenAid. Others like the Oxo.

Got this as a gift. Yes the clogging issue is the worst also not great for espresso grinds
