Yes, it has more options, but you jumping from 25$ to 175$ price.
At this point get Garmin instinct 2, maybe slightly more expensive, but gets you way more options and features. That casio is probably same size as the 25$ version, but actual time digits are way to small for that case. In garmin you can set any face you like, I like big digits.
Considering your dad is in 70s, his vision may not be the best and its just going to hurt his eyes looking at casio time. Just look at the pictures of that casio watch and notice how big the digits are compared to case size. Its usefull screen area is less then half of the case size..
To me its just stupid waste of space. I had this similar watch and returned it in few days.
Also its menu is extremely slow.
