So yes, it's still $100 off effectively, but I feel like at this point $50 off the price it had been for so long isn't a big sale. If they had brought it down to $600, that would have been legit.

The PS5 Pro is drawing attention as a premium 2 terabyte console that can be made much cheaper with stacked promos, especially PayPal Pay in 4 cash back, Best Buy trade in credits, and occasional Amex or Amazon card offers. The strongest value math puts it well below list price, and the extra processing features are described as noticeable in real play. Shipping dates, trade in promos, and cash back offers have been inconsistent, though, and the upgrade is still seen as late in the generation with limited game support for the extra power. A solid option if the discounts line up and you want the Pro features.

The AMEX offer did show up in my account.
For those on the fence on whether a better deal might come up BF, I did speak with an online Dell rep and she locked in the price for 30 days via a quote. So I personally might wait to see if a better deal comes up between now and Cyber Monday, and if not, go with the Dell/Amex deal and hope it arrives sooner than listed.
Edit: per the other Slickdeals post for the PS5 Pro from Dell, someone said they ordered it last night (Nov 21) and the shipping date changed from January to November 26th. A second person might have also said that it will arrive sooner.
In this case, Amazon return policy is good so no risk to taking a chance, IMO.
That said, most people would be better off getting a current gen budget desktop PC around this price. The real world difference between PS5 & PS5 Pro is barely noticeable from what I've seen.

Fairly late in the generation and PS6 is probably 1-2 years away making this obelete very soon
Very few games and studios have really made use of the increased GPU on this thing....CPU is the same
YOU will need a disc drive TBH...I cant imagine paying this much for a all digital console that will become ewaste, unless its hacked but then you wont be able to play online games
There will be huge discount fairly soon once new consoles release for this and XBOX Series X
