Sunlu has good filament and I love their reusable spools but their Gold comes out more yellow if you ask me. Other brands of gold look closer to gold in my experience.

I agree, I just got some earlier this week. Very yellow.

It's more about what you want to print. Silk can look really neat, really shiny and can print really smooth but it's also a bit more brittle so not great on functional parts that might be under stress or a lot of movement. Looks amazing on things like vases and ornamental type items, I've seen some cool looking articulated dragons and such. So if you plan to print a lot of that kind of time it will work well.

Yes. I run a ton of Sunlu through my Bambu's. I'm fairly certain that Bambu's own filament is rebranded Sunlu. You can get away with running standard Bambu profiles for most of the Sunlu stuff

For any silk filaments, you don't really want to print faster than that if you want it to print the way it is intended. You could print a little faster, but you won't get the "shine" the way it is intended. This isn't unique for Sunlu.

This is a good deal at ~$10 per 1kg roll. Be advised, the spools don't come in individual boxes. Just one big box with the 4 shrink wrapped spools. I would have preferred individual boxes making for easier storage.

Their PLA+ 2.0 4pk (of 1 kg all black spools) is only a few $$$ ($45.89) more: https://a.co/d/ibauhQ4

Other color combos are available, like red/white/blue/black & olive green/coffee brown/magenta/vivid yellow.

Do people use 0.4mm nozzle or 0.2mm nozzle to print with this filament?
