Lenovo has more or less the same thing with 16gb or ran instead of 32gb of RAM, for $200 less, and even less if you use certain coupon codes. >$200 isn't worth slightly higher screen res 2k -> 2.5k and 32gb ram

Unfortunately we are now in AI end times and 16 GBs of additional ram alone is going to cost you almost a hundred bucks.
But if you are talking about the Legion 5 15.1" there is a lot more difference between that machine and this one than just the ram/screen including better thermals on the Pro 5. personally I would prefer the 15.1" Legion because rear ports+4.4 lbs is worth it, but it's not really the same class of machine for a lot of people.
Depends on what you want, but personally I would rather have the 15.1" the other person mentions with the rear ports for a couple hundred less, though I would immediately spend most of that budget upping the ram to at least 32 GBs for my use case.
The main downside on this machine imo is power/HDMI out the sides which sucks, but also this CPU isn't much more powerful from early reviews than the 260 that comes with the 15.1" but will get dramatically worse battery life and the integrated GPU is a lot worse on the 8745

definitely a 16" Screen. 2.5k OLED. I just saw this at Best Buy. It looks really nice and the 16GB of extra RAM was better than the hassle of buying my own RAM and doing the upgrade. If you want to upgrade on your own there is probably something better out there for you, but this was the best choice for me.
