If you need storage, the no storage model doesn't come with the tray.
The storage tray costs an extra $19 so $179 for 512Gb is pretty good deal.

UniFi is a deep, expensive hole. I started out with this exact gateway earlier this year and have expanded to multiple switches and miscellaneous hardware. Their ecosystem is amazing for those that want a little more control over their home network without having to play network engineer everyday. It's the Apple of networking. It just works and you get addicted to expansion.

Nice surprise. I was just looking at getting this model to go along with their doorbell for recording video and running Protect. Can easily upgrade the storage.

Seems like a solid replacement for my UXG Pro(sans SFP). What say the tribe?

And no other legit retailers have the NS option (i've been looking at this for a while). But might as well buy the 512 for $180 now.

I have a UDMP, but don't use the drive bays at all. Aside from more ports on UDMP, how does this compare?

No POE, if you intend to get into other Unifi accesories, you will have to spend even more on POE injectors or a switch with POE. You need the Gateway Fiber at min which has 4 POE+ ports

I thought the Fiber has 1 POE+ port only. Was hoping the Fiber would come on sale...
