These are good if you no longer have the L wrench that came with the car. I know they've been getting rid of spare tires and hardware in new cars so good for newer cars, however, an aftermarket L wrench for lugs provides so much more leverage than this ever could. When tightening my lugs, I make it a habit to step on the L wrench to create enough torque. My lugs have gotten loose without stepping on the wrench in the past because the rust between the hub and rim breaks off during driving (I assume). Or you could also just get a torque wrench and tighten it to spec I guess.

I have HF breaker bars and the lugnut flip socket sets. It's much easier to store a breaker bar and they're either 18" or 25" long for more mechanical advantage. This 4 way is only 7", which is why you often have to jump on the end to get a lugnut broken free.

True. Those thin tubes will dig into your hands and hurt you real bad. Especially if you encounter a few seized bolts (and you will). I did two complete wheel changes with this before I threw it in the trash where it belonged. And I think mine was a larger one!

All these cross lug wrenches are idiotic trash by design.

Get a proper stick wrench. Takes much less space and no pain.

The lug nuts need to be retightened after about 50 miles; otherwise, they can become loose. This is not because you didn't tighten them enough. If you step on the wrench, you could overtighten the lug nuts and overstretch the wheel bolts. You can use a torque wrench to tighten the nuts to the manufacturer's specifications
