Cache and dram are not the same thing, they serve different functions:
SLC Cache - temporarily stores newly written data until it is moved to slower TLC/qlc storage. All ssds have a dynamic cache that shrinks as the ssd fills up.
DRAM - stores map of data on ssd. DRAMless ssds will store the info on the main storage and copy it to the ram when in use.
