The A36 was $230 for the phone and plan. Pixel 9 was also a great deal. The A16 is trash.

It's like getting their new customers unlimited plan for $180 and paying $15 extra for the phone.
Great price point.

Per Mint rep - It is very easy, you can just get a replacement esim to install it on your new phone and that's it The best part - it is delivered immediately and is free
Download the mint mobile app on new phone, login, request new eSIM. That's how you switch phones using eSIM on Mint Mobile

You can buy this and then add their 5G home internet for $30/month (must prepay 3 months, or 12 months). It ends up cheaper than t-mobile home internet at $50/month without a phone plan. Mint limit is 1TB / month while t-mobile is 1.2TB. same speeds.

Buy this today or wait for a similar or better deal on Black Friday? Assuming wait, but haven't tried mint mobile before.

Recovery fee is charged by carrier to pay for federal and local fees. It is paid by carrier to external entities. Some people report $25 recovery fee on the Mint Mobile 12m plan, but it depends on location. The amount will show up on the final checkout page.
I got the 12M plan. After checkout, they added another $29 in recovery fees and taxes.

Still not a bad deal overall if you need the monthly service. And if I read it correctly, the phone itself unlocks after 60 days, right, so you could offload the phone, use the sim of your current phone, and have a good backup phone for a few years or get a free helium mobile plan on it?
Just not sure if a better phone will be there Friday for the same price and deal.

Its for my son, I thought it was a good deal and he's happy with an upgrade from his A13 and unlimited data.

Definitely. The phone still gets updates for 5 more years which is a good bonus and Samsung still makes great phone cameras!

Do you have to keep the sim inside all the 60 days for the phone to unlock?

Has anyone got it?
What is the RAM on it?
After activating physical sim with phone, do we have to use it for minimim 60 days to unlock the phone or after activation we can takeout the Sim card and use with another phone?
