Bosch Icon beam wiper blades stand out for strong all weather performance and unusually long life, especially in rain, snow, and harsh sun. The blades are praised for staying streak free and quiet for years, with some sets still working well after several seasons and others lasting around 18 months to 2 years before minor streaking. The main caveats are price and fit, since some prefer cheaper refills or silicone alternatives, and beam blades can leave gaps on certain older windshields. A durable, high performing option if the size matches your car.

These are the best performing, longest lasting, can even be revitalized a little with soap/alcohol/silicone

how long? I put PIAA Silicon blades on my dodge caravan that sits outside in Texas sun all day everyday in October... of 2020. And they still perform better than most rubber blades new. My Corolla got it's last set in May 2022 and they are still brand new level performance.

Can't recommend Silicone enough, PIAA may or may not be relevant, but the Silicone is huge)

Just wanted to tag all of you and say "Try Silicone wipers". I have all but forgotten that wipers are considered regular maintenance and I live in Texas and keep my vehicles outside in direct sunlight year round. My first set of PIAA Si-tech wipers were bought because someone on slickdeals did a post like this raving about them. That was October 2020, they no longer perform like new, but they are still at least as good as rubber wipers after 1.5-2 months in the sun lol. My second set on my other car are from May 2022 (after I needed to replace them and realized I had forgotten I was running an experiment with expensive Silicone wipers until then) and they are still at like new levels of performance. I had just gotten so tired as someone who doesn't see a TON of rain/drive in it, that every time it did rain my wipers were shot, would get replaced and be shot before the next time I needed them. I basically felt like I never actually had working wipers lol.

depends where you live, I am in California and wipers blades don't last past 1 season regardless of brand or advertised durability UNLESS you keep your car in garage, most of us poor folk keep our cars in the driveway and the sun kills everything, Costco ones are the best option. keep in mind, this year they replaced the metal frame with a cheapy plastic wobbly frame, just installed them and we'll see how they perform in the upcoming rain

That's what I was wondering. I use the cheap Costco ones but if these last longer that might be good.

I buy these for my cars in Florida and they seem to last longer than other brands before they crack/streak from the heat

I get less than 10 months until it starts streaking...

I can't imaging why anyone would pay so much for a wiper blade.

Got mine in today from Amazon and someone had returned the Bosch and put Duralast in the box. I hope they get coal in their stocking.

Extremely overpriced. I got pair of generic $12 pair and it lasted me a year before seeing streaks. Now I'm just buying the blade refill, 4x for $6. The performance of a $40 wiper and $10 should be the same, you'll need to replace them every year anyways. Just always clean your windshield. Save your money and get good tires.

The set of Bosch I bought in 2018 is still going strong. I can vouch that these outperform the cheaper brands by a large margin. Your choice to buy cheaper ones and change them every 1-2 years.

I'm one week shy of three years on my $22 set of silicones. No streaks, but the other night I was getting slight squeak as they changed direction in a semi-light rain. These silicones are also the first time I've had a rear wiper last more than six months. No streaks or squeaks on that one.

In 2018 I bought these for 24$ for 2. They are great but after a few years prices went up so tried multiple others. For value n quality I landed on much cheaper with refills. Less waste and alot cheaper. In hot state btw

Bought my current set in early 2021, so almost 5 years and they are still going strong. I've been in Cali and Texas, so the sun is not forgiving in either state.

These aren't really a sale as these were the same price when I bought them back in 2021, but they sure do outlast any other brand/model I've tried before, including OEM replacements.

My only wish is that there was something of similar quality for the rear wipers. Those are always all ass and will start squeaking in half a year.

I use Bosch ClearAdvantage wipers right now... Would these be very much of an upgrade?

Very much so. The Icon cost about double the price of the Clear Advantage, but should last years longer.

Oh is that the difference? They last longer? A set of the ClearAdvantage seem to last me around 5 years. How long do the Icons last?

I usually go to RainX brand, Michelin makes great tires but their blades suck. Trying Bosch for the first time, can't go wrong with Project Farms recommendation after 1 year exposure to the elements.
Project Farm recommended them? I'm in.

Duralast is the Vato Zone house brand.
