I agree there are bigger better units. But if this is what you have, you can make it work. I would just strongly suggest shopping for a 1kw battery to add. They've been as cheap as $285 new or $250 refurbed.
Community Reviews
The EcoFlow Delta 2 950Wh is a compact backup power station that stands out for fridge, freezer, and small appliance support during outages. With an extra 1kW smart battery, it has handled a full size fridge and chest freezer for about 12 hours, powered a microwave and even nearly a 1700 watt convection oven, and kept a sump pump running for days. The 950Wh version also qualifies for the California PG&E rebate, unlike the 1000Wh version. Main cautions are checkout and PayPal quirks, plus the base unit may feel limited without adding battery capacity.
Common Questions (5)
Yes, the 950Wh version fits the stated PG&E range of more than 300Wh and less than 999Wh, while the regular 1000Wh version would not. The rebate may be $300 if you qualify, and you need to check eligibility through your PG&E account.
Yes. With an added 1kW smart battery, it reportedly ran a full-size fridge and chest freezer together for about 12 hours, powered a microwave or nearly a 1700W convection oven, and kept a sump pump running for a couple of days. Runtime depends heavily on the load and whether you add extra battery capacity.
If the prices are similar, two units can be better for redundancy and moving power to different rooms, but an extra battery gives longer runtime without adding a second inverter draw. For fridge backup, the extra battery is more efficient; for flexibility and backup if one unit fails, two units make more sense.
It can, but runtime depends on the crock pot wattage and size. Medium pots around 150W each may run for about 3 hours on the base unit, while preheating on mains power first can stretch keep-warm use to more than 5 hours; larger pots may need more capacity.
PayPal was reported to trigger a $10 cash-advance fee plus interest during a payment-system issue, though that issue was later said to be resolved. The deal also reportedly gave an extra $25 off with PayPal, bringing the price to about $266.

Wrong with those. But the regular smart batteries are just easier to use and charge. I use the ecoflow 1kw smart battery. The delta 2 or 3 1kw battery will work. A few months ago the ecoflow website had the delta 3 battery new for $285. The ecoflow ebay store had delta 2 battery refurbed for about $250 last week. I believe you can still register the refurbished ones for a five year warranty at the ecoflow site. Ecoflow is currently selling used ones on ebay for $259. But I have no idea if they are eligible for a full warranty or not.

Smoking price for just $232.50 each. Unfortunately it makes you buy two. So would be perfect if you happen to have two units...

Typical wattage by size
Small (1.5-2 quarts): 80–120 watts
Medium (3-5 quarts): 150–170 watts
Standard (6 quarts): Approximately 180–240 watts
Large (6-8 quarts): 180–320 watts
Extra-large (10 quarts): Can exceed 450 watts
Here's an example. You had two medium pots running at 150 watts each. You would get close to 3 hours of run time off this unit. Double that run time if you added one extra 1kw battery. I would check the wattage of the crockpots to be sure. If you're running a couple of the large to extra large ones. I would probably look for something larger battery wise.

It's probably better to get 2 units if the price is same as an extra battery.. That way if one fails you still have a working unit. Or you can move them to different locations in the house.
The only drawback would be, that each unit burns some watts just by being powered on. So if you're trying for longer runtime on your fridge, you'll cut back on your overall runtime because 2 inverters are turned on and running at the same time. The extra battery has no inverter, so it is just an extension of power for the one unit that is already on. Hope that helps...
