Not sure why you'd say that. This unit with an extra 1kw battery was all I had solar power station wise a couple summers ago in a 3 day outage. It would run our full size fridge and old full size chest freezer together for about 12 hours on a charge. Was also able to cook using this powering a microwave or nearly 1700 watt convection oven. Made my life easier not having to run a generator all the time. My kids are young and my wife won't mess with one. Could sleep and go to work without a generator outside running.

I agree there are bigger better units. But if this is what you have, you can make it work. I would just strongly suggest shopping for a 1kw battery to add. They've been as cheap as $285 new or $250 refurbed.

Also FYI, If you use paypal, there is a mess right now where you will be charged $10 for a cash advance plus interest charges on the purchase. The web is full of discussions. So according to the web, it is a mistake by Paypal due to a system upgrade and people will need to wait until Monday morning for it to be corrected. So I would hold off any paypal purchases on Ali until then.

Getting an extra $25 off for using paypal making it $266. The whole paypal payment via alipay issue seems a bit concerning but sounds like they resolved as of 11/21 and worst case the $10 cash advance would be less than the discount.

Just had a 12hr outage forcing us to toss out some perishables in the fridge so this can help us avoid that issue in the future.
