It may depend on the bundle because I have 100+ movies purchased as part of bundles that show up in my Movies Anywhere account.
I also haven't seen a real Apple Gift card sale (aside from "get a $10 BB/etc" card with purchase of $100 Apple Card in probably close to a year now.

If you're starting your digital movie library, bundle deals are a good way to go. Just keep in mind if you buy it from iTunes, you will probably only be able to view it through iTunes. Same applies if you buy a bundle through Fandango at Home. Bundles don't cross list between library apps. Same as with seasons of TV shows. They stay where you bought them. Usually.

It's different for individual movies purchased. Most of the studios have a cross listing agreement for individual films in digital libraries. All of those except Paramount and Lionsgate studios.

If you're picking up a lot of films during the BF sales you should also search Slickdeals for ITunes or Fandango at Home gift cards sales. You can save money that way. Reduce your cost nut. Setting up cross listing between digital movie libraries is done through Movies Anywhere.

My experience with movie bundles that redeem as one item has been that they don't cross list. If a bundle is broken up into separate redemption codes, then that works for me.

Gift card wise, yeah it's usually 10% off and maybe you have a target credit card that gets you an additional 5% off. Apple gift cards do not go on sale for squat. Fandango at Home usually has a Black Friday deal for 20% off if you buy it through them Directly.

Their disc to digital conversion program is still operational at Fandango. It doesn't work for Disney, Criterion or Paramount IP, nor does that program offer a cheap 4K digital copy of anything. However, it's not too bad for forgetting HD Blu-ray digital copies for 2 to 5 bucks. A definite pain in the butt to deal with, but I added probably about 50 movies that way to my library.

Also add that if you buy it from fandango at home, forget about watching it any content oversees even via vpn. It's geo blocked. Thankfully I bought through iTunes and can watch all my content from abroad no vpn needed. Apple truly does negotiate the best streaming contracts, apart from just the free 4K upgrades.

I take frequent trips outside the US and just used both MA and Fandango a few days ago easily via VPN. Never had an issue with it tbh but it will probably depend on which VPN you use.

The way Apple does it is that your account is locked to a specific region, so if you ever need an app from outside the US, you have to create a new apple account or else you risk losing a portion of your movie collection due to license agreements.

I already had a lot of movies via Apple when I started traveling abroad so I use an Android since I often need apps from different countries and didn't want to risk losing all the movies and shows I had already purchased. On my Android, I have Google accounts from 7 different regions simultaneously on the phone. On an iPhone, that would be a nightmare since you can only be signed into one account, so I just keep it as my US phone.

You can always buy something like a Rasperry Pi and create your own VPN at home. That way whenever you're outside the US you still have access to your home IP address and everything works just like as if you were at home.

I think Fists of Fury is one of the most underrated Martial Arts film. To me, it's a classic.

It's not underrated at all, it's one of the most popular of all time

You may not be looking at the studio of the movie bundle. Bundles like James Bond and the Trek bundles and the Bruce Lee bundle won't cross list because they're MGM and Paramount respectively.

I bought the Hitchcock bundle on iTunes and on every other platform, they just show up as individual movies. Fandango keeps a purchase history no matter where you bought the movie if it's MA. So it just says 0.00 when it's from another platform. The purchase history lists each Hitchcock title separately as well.

Similarly, I bought the Miss Congeniality bundle on FAH. It shows up as a bundle on FAH but as individual movies on other platforms

What VPN, service are you using? I finally got Fandango to work but I had to use a Star VPN Wireguard residential IP with DNS filtering, it was too much trouble tbh. All other Major VPN's were blocked, you can forget about it if you're using a datacenter ip. Most people are going through the trouble of setting up their own home server just to watch their content overseas.

Must haves:
Hero in the Martial Arts Masters 5-Movie Collection (Bundle)
Bruce Lee collection (Bundle)
The Jet Li Collection (Bundle)
* Unfortunately, this collection is only on sale at Apple TV rather than Fandango.

Thanks, got the Bruce Lee collection for $9.99. I buy the iTunes/Apple cards when they're 20% off (sometimes 15% off, sadly), which makes this an even better deal using those credits.

I am not an expert at all, but would not a lifetime Plex work. I have a Plex Media Center at home and I have been able to access it from overseas (as long as the computer does not do an update / reboot while I am gone)
