8GB storage built-in (not upgradeable) but enough for Smart Recording for about a week depending on sensitivity and clip length, then it auto overwrites oldest video automatically

Do you need homebase 3 to use it? can you store videos with sd card, and view it with phone app ?

One of the Amazon video reviews says you can use it with homebase 3 or your own wifi router.

How good is the motion detection? is there a long delay between motion and start of recording? Any exiting owner can chime in?

Yes using the free eufy app. I have a uv cameras, but not this exact model. They are all over two years old.And still working well. None of them are solar, so I don't know how that holds up. No fees to monitor and each camera has on board storage.

I have an older version, but I think they are using the same software. From time to time, the motion detection is either too sensitive or can't detect anything at all even I walk in front of it 5 feet. Otherwise I don't have issue.
