8GB storage built-in (not upgradeable) but enough for Smart Recording for about a week depending on sensitivity and clip length, then it auto overwrites oldest video automatically

Have 2 of these and a wired eufy security light. They work great and seamless with eufys app. The only thing I wish we could do is multi view live footage from cameras like a traditional security setup. But for this price and ease of use it's not a big deal to go click through each one

These cameras already have built-in storage of 8gb and you can also expand it with an SD card. I have the same model.

I have 5 of these cameras, $50 is the lowest yet. I attached all of them to an external larger solar panel...this is the way to keep them 100% full fulltime.

All 5 connect to Homebase 3 with 1TB drive. The wireless connection from the Homebase to the cameras are not as good, you can tell when I view live from the cameras - video gets choppy and blurry and sometimes pauses. But if the cameras are connected directly to the router, they always have a clearer sharper video.

Just FYi you will need a soldering iron and all kinds of other stuff to replace the battery. Ideally this will work forever but batteries do eventually fail. This will eventually become junk. That said I have one and it works well lots of false positives on my grill cover though so ramp down the sensitivity.

What type of solar panel did you need to use? I'm assuming it wasn't your standard 12volt 100 watt type panel.

I have several of these, which have been up since August. I bought gutter mounts to ensure as much sun as possible. They work well. It remains to be seen how they do in real winter here in Michigan. Picture quality is excellent.

As already mentioned, they will not detect motion 100% of the time, I doubt anything will. Spend some time dialing in sensitivity and activity zones.

You do not need Homebase for these to work. You can use the app or go online.

The frustrating part is that I cannot link it to Google Home. The link to do so is broken. Neither Eufy or Google care. There are posts on Reddit going back years. They do link to Alexa perfectly fine.
