Excellent semi auto at this price, even without the auto milk frother (which I don't use). Very sturdy build. Heats up in seconds. High quality flat bottom portafilter with precision cut filter holes. Solid tamper and milk streaming cup. Recessed drip head screw compatible with filter screens. Enough clearance for regular size coffee mugs. I pair with a Baratza Encore grinder and am making better drinks than my friend's DeLonghi super auto.

This was supposed to be my cheap temporary training machine, but I decided to keep it as the daily driver.

I had this and a Bambino... Tested them both out for a while and the workflow on the Bambino was much cleaner and better. Although I did love the quality and build, including the 58mm portafilter and tamper, as well as the general quality of the machine, it just didn't pull the same quality shots as the Bambino.

I don't find a service manual online, but I would bet that it does. Hard to find a new semi/super auto under 600 with all metal tubing.

I daily drive this. Finding 3 ear 58mm portafilter accessories is nontrivial but doable. The auto milkfrother workflow is pretty nice since you can put the milk canister sealed up in the fridge. I have milk in the stock canister and non dairy in a modified mason jar. Cleaning the autofrother is also pretty easy by just sucking water through and wiping the gaskets and wand down.

The coffee workflow isn't as good as other more expensive machines ive used but it still makes great coffee once you figure it out.

I think this is a great starter, if you buy the cheaper machines its not guna help you learn as much as this one, learned from experience, espresso is just expensive in general, if you dont wanna hurt your wallet just do nesspreso, but i think if your up for learning this machine will help you decide of you wanna get serious or not

This same machine is $80 with Inside Pass with coupon BLACKFRIDAY1125 direct from Whirlpool. Can look at any of the many KF threads for conversation about that program/beg for membership.

As stated earlier, you need to have an Inside Pass account to look at/buy things. There are several threads of people asking for accounts. I'm trying not to add to that here.
