shrinkflation! as an FYI, this is a pre-S&S price of $17.82/kg for the normal 2.2lb bag. not a deal.

Very good for super-automatic espresso. To me, easily the most balanced and best tasting out of all Lavazza flavors.

But this is 22Oz, not 32Oz for ~$12-13 as usual.

Still an OK price but not great.

It's great. It makes consistently good espressos (compared to other commercial brands)
I like the 22oz size better because I feel the 2.2lbs starts loosing flavor before I finish the bag, even making 2-3 espressos a day
I usually get this size for $14-$15 so I feel it is a good deal (coffee got more expensive in the last couple of years)

Thanks for sharing! I've been waiting to try this style from Lavazza. I've tried some of their other offerings and they were decent, but hoping this will be better for espresso than their other offerings.

Equivalent to about $17.60 for a 1Kg Bag which is good by current standards. However, you can expect prices to continue to drop for a while, so if you don't need this now you might be better waiting.

It's actually usually 35 oz for $12 to $14, which a couple months ago was still under $10. Now, I've seen on here bags of 12 oz for $10

I've tried most of Lavazza lines of coffee:
  • Espresso Whole Bean
  • Espresso Barista Gran Crema Whole Bean
  • Crema e Aroma Whole Bean
  • Qualità Rossa Whole Bean
The best espresso I've had from Lavazza is their general espresso whole bean with 5/10 intensity. It's been on sale way cheaper than this at $11-13 for 1kg/2.2lb pre tariff prices and various S&S deals. The other coffee in the list were just okay if not overly bitter or just bland.

I've wanted to try a bag of this at some point to see how it compares to the others.

I'm using a Breville Bambino Plus paired with a MiiCoffee/Torin DF54 and hoping this Super Crema will be decent with that combo.

You are right, 35.2 Oz to be price. And indeed I typically buy 10-12 Oz bags of slightly better coffee beans for $8-10 from Marshalls, TJMaxx or Home Goods.

That was a typo. I've seen 12 oz bags on SD for under $5, Search SD for Lavazza
