Just FYI this stuff dries really soft. As in easy to put dent in with just your fingernail.

I use this often to fill nail holes in trim prior to painting. Works well.

Read the package! It says for "interior/exterior". What does exterior mean to you? If it does not hold up when it gets wet, it should not be advertised as being for exterior use.

Read the package! DAP DryDex Spackling can definitely be used on wood not just drywall. The product is specifically designed for multiple surfaces including drywall, plaster, wood, brick and stone. FYI

Any handyman in the group? How's this stuff?
It really is a slick product and a clever invention. It goes on pink so you can make sure you covered the entire area, and then it slowly fades to white as it dries. It's hard to tell when regular drywall mud is dry, and you don't want to start sanding if it hasn't fully hardened. With this, you can just walk by and check the color. It's also very easy to use and goes on really smooth. For little drywall projects, this is great.

Haha, so true! But I buy some of the stupidest stuff during BF and stock up for the entire year. Toothpaste, toner, shampoo, batteries, etc...if you're paying full price, you're paying too much! 🤑

Worst Spackle! False Advertising! Although it is advertised for external use, Do Not use on any surface that will get wet, it will just turn to mush no matter how long you let it dry.. Waste of time and money.
This is for drywall. Not wetwall

As everyone else says, dries soft so give it a little more time. You can actually sand it a bit by rubbing it with your hands. Also, it doesn't keep well super long. Don't know how long it takes but I remember going back to using it a second time after about a years time and its dried out. Had to add some water to get it mushy again but it's never the same so I try to buy the smallest amount every time I need to use this.
