I want to buy this for my parents. Can you remotely control what's shown on the TV?
Does it work with Alexa?

There is a TCL Q5 TV on SD for the same price that looks to be a better deal. It runs FireTV and should run Alexa. (Please confirm).

Just random bad luck for you then.
We have at least 5 of these at a client being used for internal signage, partly because the Hisense with Google OS have the ability to do scheduled turn-on and scheduled turn-off (so staff never have to touch them), and they are all on for at least 10 hours every day. 2 years in and none have stopped working.

This isn't a bad price, but the last deal was a little better.
Edit : Last month was exactly the same deal, but when I got to the store there was only one left and it was an open box for $142.
I picked up one last month for $150 at Walmart and am using it for a free Dakboard display to gift to a friend for Christmas. She currently has a whiteboard calendar, but a huge digital one that she can use to send video to will be a nice upgrade.
Hisense Google TVs can do scheduled turn-on and turn-off times, so they're pretty awesome for digital displays of any kind, since you never have to touch them once set up.

Can you connect headphones to these. Bluetooth is preferred but not sure if it causes a delay.
