Not sure what it is, but most colonies I've purchased from Amazon vs Sephora or other B&M stores have been faint. Or long last only a few mins.

Typically parfum is more concentrated and lasts longer than Eau de toilette.

I usually prefer longer lasting scents so I use parfum. It's a personal preference depending on the scent and the occasion.

I think it is the same fragrance but might have been reformulated over the years so you may feel the scent is not exactly the same or how strong it used to be.

A*Men has been generally considered polarizing so probably not a safe blind buy. The newer release A*Men Fantasm is considered less polarizing and more modern in appeal. There's also latest release A*Men Stellar which you may consider.
