Do not buy this for espresso. This is the non-espresso version. For espresso, you want the Encore ESP. This is a great grinder for the money (despite how loud it is), but it's only for drip/pour over.

Do not buy this for espresso. This is the non-espresso version. For espresso, you want the Encore ESP. This is a great grinder for the money (despite how loud it is), but it's only for drip/pour over.

I think this is the black Friday price. With Amazon you get extended returns so you can return if it goes down further.

Better yet, don't buy an Encore for espersso at all. Wait for a deal on a Sette.

Yeah no problem there. And it's technically fine enough for espresso, just not precise enough for espresso. You can make it work by tuning the amount of beans.

If the ESP is unobtainable for stock or price reasons, a $35 M2 burr and a little surgery will get you there from the basic Encore.
