These companies continue to scrape for every penny with quality a sacrifice. PC games get these awful console-style menus and games are more poorly optimized than ever. Consumers need to speak with their pocketbook and stop making it so easy for these big studios.

Inflation isn't going away, just need to deal my friend.
$50 is January 2019 is the equivalent of $64.50 now in terms of buying power.
$40 in 2004 is $70 today in terms of buying power. Games used to be $40 in early 2000's, now they are $70. They are not more expensive, they actually are tracking exactly with inflation.
That is just how the world works, better luck on your porch in a rocking chair shouting at clouds then changing inflation.

I believe $30 is a good price on that. Alot of people have Thousand Year Door as their favorite in the series.
