14% higher cost for 10-15% better performance isnt that easy of a decision in my opinion. At MSRP the $600 vs $550 is a lot easier since its a 9% difference in price. Getting close to where the 9070 really makes sense.
What folks should think about is what's $70 over the course of the 5 years they keep the GPU worth. If it means skipping an upgrade or getting half a generation more out of it because it does just that much better than the $70 lower priced model, it could be totally worth it.
I'm personally fine with my 9070, it seems to dump out less heat than my old 6900 XT did.
