I already have multiple streaming devices. The OS still requires signing in and exert some level of control. I never dealt with Fire TV OS - So question - Do I need to stay connected to wifi? or once I get this going, I can drop wifi and remove Amazon ads?

get android streammer device , most even expensive tv OS slow as heck.
I have shield pro and Onn 4k pro. both great
I have Roku and firestick , it 's ok but I would not recommend.
