  • Luigi can call upon and control Gooigi, his all-green doppelganger, who can do what Luigi can't; Gooigi can slip through tight spaces, walk on spikes, and help Luigi overcomes obstacles
  • Change between Luigi and Gooigi in single player, or let a friend play as Google for 2-player co-op

It is one of the best games for switch! I played right after Mario Odyssey and story bridges perfectly(lose peach, find peach and then lose again in a hotel).

I'd you have a switch 2, the entire collection is on it. Luigi mansion 2 might be a good place to start with your kid. 3 is the best in the series imo with the first being very close.

Nintendo keeping their titles priced high is really the biggest barrier to me getting Luigi's Mansion 3. I miss the old Nintendo Selects line where they'd discount their best-selling titles after their initial sales run to get ancillary sales to people who may be on the fence on buying or are more price conscious with their video game purchases. I know a lot of people have a "but it's Nintendo" justification for paying more for Nintendo titles, but it's only meant more purchases from me for PlayStation games (Horizon series, Spider-Man series, Ghost of Tsushima, etc) that have been in the $15-30 range when games have gone on sale.
